Comparative Study of Knee Isokinetic Strength Evaluation of Normal College Students in their 20 s
Woo Ji-Hea

Abstract
Objective: The purpose of this study is to present the comparison results of knee extensor, flexor muscle relative strength, defect rate, and H/Q ratio based on the evaluation of subjects in their 20 s.

Method: To measure the strength of the knee extensor and flexors, isokinetic exercise equipment was used. Relative strength, left and right defect rate, and Hamstring/Quadriceps ratio are measured.

Results: As for the relative muscle strength, there were no significant differences when comparing the left and right extensor and flexors in all groups. The left and right defect rates were 4.33 % for the extensor and 7.20 % for the flexors in the male group, and 1.89 % for the extensor and 5.79 % for the flexors in the female group. The Hamstring/Quadriceps ratio was 54.71 % for male group and 48.84 % for female group on the right, and 53.28 % for male group and 47.04 % for female group on the left.

Conclusion: From the results of this study, it is considered that it can be used as a normal target value during the rehabilitation exercise of normal college students in their 20 s.
